Individual donors support the Film Institute’s year-round programming and operations through the Milestone Campaign.

Through the generous support of our community, we will:

• Continue the high-quality innovative programming that has earned CFI its international reputation, and expand our presence in Marin County through long-term strategic initiatives
• Grow our CFI Education programs to offer more media-literacy and filmmaking programs, and bring more filmmakers into Bay Area schools
• Increase our creative and financial support of filmmakers, not only through film exhibition, but also through a new model for nonprofit film distribution

Stock Transfers

You can make a stock transfer directly to the California Film Institute. A gift of appreciated securities is a wonderful way to support our programs while avoiding capital gains tax and qualifying for a deduction (based on the value of the stock).
