Renowned director Majid Majidi (Children of Heaven) brings a warmly comic touch to the endearing tale of Karim, a worker on an Ostrich farm in a rural village. After being fired from his job, Karim struggles to provide for his family, specifically to purchase a new hearing aid for his daughter. Soon he becomes self-employed with a motorcycle taxi, transporting businessman and goods through the crowded streets of Tehran. Faced daily with the competitiveness and materialism of the city, Karim becomes tempted to abandon the virtues of generosity and community valued in the countryside. In Farsi with English subtitles.
