Hope Eternal

Hope, a Madagascan nurse, works with patients stricken with AIDS in a hospice in Congo. Having escaped her own horrific childhood experiences, she acts as mother, not only to 14-year-old daughter Bantu, but also to the many street kids who fall victim to human trafficking. Hope meets Evan, a Welsh doctor, who gains her trust and affection. Tragically, Evan's life is violently cut short, sending Hope and Bantu on a journey that to return his ashes home to Wales. Shot on location in Africa with a primarily local cast, this multi-genre film is intended to depict " the real Africa."
