CFI Memberships make great gifts! Go to this page to review membership benefits. Enter the recipient’s information under the shipping info and your information will go under billing. ARE MEMBERSHIPS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Memberships starting at the Gold Star level and above have the estimated tax-deductible portions. Check the levels & benefit page. You’ll get our tax ID # with your membership card.
IS THERE ANY BENEFIT TO REFERRING A FRIEND?
Absolutely! Click here to refer a friend. If they join you’ll get two vouchers for the Rafael Film Center.
WHAT IS THE VALUE TO UPGRADING MY MEMBERSHIP AND HOW DO I UPGRADE?
A higher-level membership affords you additional benefits and privileges. More screenings, more access, more great film!

HOW CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT MEMBERSHIP CARD?
If you lose your membership card and need a replacement, email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name. A $5 replacement fee may apply.
WHAT ARE FREE MEMBER SCREENINGS?
We are very lucky that the film studios work with CFI to offer us free film screenings for members to get the word out about films. These are screenings exclusively for members and, if space is available, you can bring a guest. We typically open the doors 30 minutes before the screening and will always try and bring you a filmmaker for a Q&A if it’s possible. Attendance is first-come first served and we cannot guarantee a seat as screenings may be overbooked.
HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT FREE MEMBER SCREENINGS?
An email invite is sent to active members. The invite will indicate if you can bring a guest.
Due to limited theater seat capacity, not all members are invited to all screenings.
Screening invitations are non-transferrable. They are only for members and a guest (if indicated in the invite). If you cannot attend, cancel 48 hours before the screening.
WHY AM I NOT GETTING THE FREE MEMBER SCREENING INVITES?
You may not be receiving invites because of the following:
- Not all members are invited to all member screenings
- To get invited to more member screenings, you might want to consider upgrading
- We don’t have your email address or it is incorrect in our database
- email us to confirm
- Your membership has expired
- Totally fixable. Click here to renew
- You have “unsubscribed to CFI emails
- Re-subscribe! Visit www.cafilm.org, go to the bottom of the page to the ENTER EMAIL box, type in your email and follow the instructions
- Your email provider is blocking our emails or sending them to your junk/spam folder
- Add membership@cafilm..org to your address book

DO YOU HAVE DUAL MEMBERSHIPS?
We currently do not offer dual memberships. Memberships are for one person but we will indicate when you can bring a guest with you.
WHEN CAN I BUY TICKETS TO THE MILL VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL?
MVFF tickets go on sale to members before the general public. And even further, MVFF tickets go on sale to members by membership level. The higher your membership, the earlier you get to purchase. A great reason to upgrade.
